Professional Biography

A Notre Damian, Professor Mohammad Farooque is the Principal of Riverstone International School, bringing decades of international experience in education, teacher training, and institutional leadership. He holds advanced degrees in English from the University of Dhaka and the University of Cambridge, along with an MA in TESOL from Anglia Ruskin University and studied Law at the University of London, and is currently completing a PhD in Semantics and Pragmatics of Classical Arabic. He has built a distinguished record as a playwright, stage director & performer, and has conducted extensive research on how children learn most effectively in natural & real-world context. He has worked with top-ranked educational institutions in Bangladesh and abroad. Professor Farooque's career reflects a rare integration of scholarship, creativity, and service a philosophy he continues to bring to his leadership at Riverstone International School.
